Greece.Tragedy occurred in Agathonisi (a small greek aegean island) in the morning when a wooden boat carrying refugees and immigrants sank under unspecified conditions in the sea area of Poros.
So far, at least 14 bodies have been recovered, including four children.According to information on the wooden boat there were about 20 people.
The Harbor Company began when two men and one woman were identified on the island’s shores at 8:30 on Saturday morning, who informed about the wreck.
Immediately thereafter, the Coast Guard launched a major business underway. It includes an offshore vessel, two Port Vessels, a naval gunnery, three naval helicopters, a Frontex vessel and several ships.
In the surveys, a special troop of the Special Forces of the Coast Guard participates in order to dive for the investigation of the shipwreck and the collection of documents.
